# Animated Math Books

My latest book, Long Division Made Easy, was just released!  You’ll see that I have leveraged the power of animation to illustrate the concept of division.  As the book unfolds, animated visual models begin to connect to multiple ways of representing division.  Then with the concepts of division in place, the book details the process of long division, all embedded within the conceptual understanding of division.

This ebook includes 10 engaging, ready-to-use animated PowerPoint lessons with leveled practice pages, and it is available through Scholastic Teacher Express.

Hi Steve – one more post from me, and one more question… Does the book 25 Common Core Math Lessons for the Interactive Whiteboard require a Smartboard? I have PowerPoint on my teacher computer and a projector to show my computer screen. Is that enough? Can I still use the lessons or does my white board actually have to be “interactive?” Thanks!

1. stevewyborney@gmail.com says:

The 25 Common Core Math Lessons for the Interactive Whiteboard series does not require an interactive whiteboard. You have everything you need. The requirements to use the animated lessons are a computer with PowerPoint, and a projector (if you are displaying for the whole class), which is how I envisioned it being used. There is no need to have an interactive whiteboard.

Can’t wait for the week-by-week math review to come out… I can’t get an advance copy of the third grade book, can I? 🙂 What a great resource!

Hi, Stephanie! No, I don’t have any advanced copies, but I can let you know as soon as they are available. I am really excited about them. I think it is going to be an excellent series.
